Bus X15 to The Peak from Central (Star Ferry)
Citybus route X15 runs between Central (Star Ferry) and The Peak in both directions. It is the quickest bus up the hill: the Transport Department's route data gives X15 a 30-minute running time, against 47 minutes for the ordinary route 15.

Board at Central Ferry - Star Ferry, at the Central ferry piers. Peak-bound, the bus then calls at Central (Hong Kong Observation Wheel), Central (Exchange Square), Admiralty (Admiralty Garden, on Queensway) and Paterson Street on Gloucester Road before it climbs to The Peak.
Coming down, X15 leaves from The Peak terminus and calls at Canal Road West, Gloucester Road, Admiralty (Admiralty Centre, on Harcourt Road), Statue Square, Two International Finance Centre and Central Ferry - Star Ferry. There is no need to walk back to Central to catch it.
The adult fare is HK$16.80. That is the full fare the operator publishes, in both directions. No child, senior or concession fare is published for X15, so none is quoted here.
X15 or bus 15? Route 15 from the Central ferry piers or Exchange Square takes about 47 minutes and costs HK$13.00. X15 takes about 30 minutes for HK$16.80 and makes four intermediate stops. Both finish at The Peak.
Or take the tram up. Bus 15C shuttles between Central (Hong Kong Observation Wheel), a short walk from the Star Ferry piers, and the Peak Tram's lower terminus at Garden Road — about 10 minutes for HK$6.10. From there the Peak Tram climbs to The Peak Tower.
The Peak Tram runs 7:30 am to 11:00 pm daily, including Sundays and public holidays.
