Bus 15B to Victoria Peak

The 15B bus service to Victoria Peak runs from from Tin Hau Station MTR station on Sundays and Public Holidays only.  Operated by NWFB / Citybus it provides high quality clean and efficient transport from the eastern district of Hong Kong island all the way to the commercial centre of Victoria Peak.

Starting at Tin Hau Station, in the covered bus stop in Park Tower, this weekend only bus runs ever 20 minutes and costs HK$9.60, half price for children.  Concessionary fares are only available for retired people holding Hong Kong identity documents, visitors to Hong Kong need to pay full fare even if over retirement age.

The route goes past Victoria Park, through Causeway Bay then turns inland onto Stubbs Road and follows that then the Peak Road all the way to the Peak Tram terminus in The Peak Tower.

If you happen to be in Causeway Bay on a weekend and are heading to Victoria Peak then this is a good option.  Consider catching it at the corner of Paterson Street and Yee Wo Street.  Or if in Wanchai then it stops outside the Wanchai Fire Station.

As with any bus route climbing a mountain the route is winding and involves many turns, it is not suitable for those who are easily travel sick and children may find it tiring.

If you want to go to the foot of the peak and take the Peak Tram to the top then you need Bus 15C to the Garden Road Peak Tram terminus.

While often visited for the view the visitor should not forget that The Peak encompasses a wide range of dining options, from the casual to the sophisticated.  Within The Peak area are examples of many of Hong Kong's most authentic and distinctive styles, as well as international choices to fit all palates and budgets.
