Wooded and residential
The Peak is of the areas of Hong Kong where residential blocks of flats are surrounded by densely wooded hills. Of course much of Hong Kong is built up with high rise towers, and a large amount of the region is still in country parks and heavily wooded. But here at the top of Victoria Peak you can find these two thins side by side. Pictured here is the road yo continue walking from the Mount Austin Playground towards the Peak Park.

About this image: A serene, narrow residential path winds uphill on Hong Kong's Victoria Peak, flanked by dense tropical greenery including ferns and trees that create a lush, natural canopy. Modern multi-story apartment buildings in earthy tones rise on one side, featuring balconies with potted plants and a gated entrance suggesting exclusive hillside living typical of this affluent area. The scene captures the harmonious blend of urban development and verdant surroundings, with subtle signs and a parked vehicle adding to the everyday tranquility of Peak life.
