Opening Hours On Victoria Peak

The Peak is a residential district which does not have any closing times, but many of the particular attractions do have set hours of which you may be aware. However during normal visiting times, and until quite late at night, most things will be open.

The Peak Tram runs from 7a.m. to midnight (Mon - Sun & public holidays), so if you are staying very late to enjoy the views then it may be closed by the time you wish to leave. Views continue to be great late into the evening as the lights of Victoria Harbour never dim.

The Peak Tower terminus, including the Sky Terrace viewing platform, and some shops, open as early as 8am on Sunday and public holidays, but only at 10am on other days.  They stay open until around 11pm every day.

However some particular smaller shops may not open until later depending on demand.

The Peak Galleria is open from 10am in the morning until 10pm every day regardless. Once again some smaller shops may keep shorter hours.  For example the Dymocks bookshop closes at 7, 8 or 9pm depending on the day of the week although it does open at 10am each day.

The official Hong Kong Tourist Board visitor center, which is between the Peak Tower and the Peak Galleria, is open from 9am until 9pm each day.

Public parks such as the Victoria Peak Garden on Mount Austin Road are open 24 hours every day.

FOOD AND DINING

While often visited for the view the visitor should not forget that The Peak encompasses a wide range of dining options, from the casual to the sophisticated.  Within The Peak area are examples of many of Hong Kong's most authentic and distinctive styles, as well as international choices to fit all palates and budgets.
