Restaurants on Victoria Peak
There are a great many places to eat on The Peak, from fancy restaurants to simple cafes, main located both in the two main buildings beside the peak tram upper terminus.
In the Peak Tower, which houses the tram terminus, are a range of restaurants some of which have great views over the Victoria Harbour, so you can combine dining with viewing. Although the restaurants do change over time as elsewhere in Hong Kong there are a few famous ones which have existed for some time and developed good reputations.
Burger King - the popular American chain is available here.
Pacific Coffee - a Hong Kong relaxed coffee shop in the style of Starbucks
Starbucks - the popular coffee shop is also here
Bubba Gump - American themed
Authentic Hong Kong style
Hong Kong Day - a typical "Hong Kong Cafe"
Good for Families with kids
Cafe Deco has the best views, but all the window tables are of course taken very early so book ahead or get there very early. This is particularly kid-friendly and a good choice if you are travelling with kids.
The oldest restaurant / cafe on the Peak is probably the Peak Cafe (now Peak Lookout). The Peak Cafe started in 1947 and served many many customers for over 50 years. In 2001, restaurant owner changed. It was renovated to an even more elegant style while keeping some of the old heritage feeling.
There are great choices for picnics within a few minutes walk of the commercial centre. And you can buy supplies for your picnic in one of the two major supermarkets; Park'N'Shop in the Peak Galleria, or Marketplace by Jason at 100 Peak Road.
